| Subject: | This is a three-day intensive course on Panel Data Econometrics. Course instruction will take the form of lectures and computer lab sessions. The computer lab sessions will give participants hands-on experience using different data sets and software packages. The course will cover the following topics/modules: 1. Panel Data Basics - Fixed and random effects. 2. Models with Endogeneity - Hausman-Taylor and related models. 3. Non-Linear and Dynamic Models - Logit, probit , counts etc. Models with lagged Ys. 4. Factor Models - Models with time- varying individual effects. 5. Stochastic Frontiers with Panel Data - Time invariant inefficiencies. 6.
