| Subject: | Cultural economics is an established discipline with its own journal, the Journal of Cultural Economics, accessible at electronic journals at the homepage of the library at the Department of Economics. The study of cultural phenomena is an international endeavor and the international aspects will be stressed. However, some of the empirical illustrations will be taken from a Danish context. The aim is not to introduce new tools but to apply the tools already learnt at the bachelor study to a fascinating topic. In particular, microeconomic theory with it many variants will be shown to be applicable to numerous phenomena in the cultural sphere.
