| Subject: | APEE invites papers on any topic; some sessions, however, will be devoted to this year's theme: "Institutional Evolution Toward Freedom and Prosperity." APEE scholars have produced a tremendous amount of research demonstrating that an institutional environment of private property, the rule of law, economic freedom, and personal liberty leads to a prosperous society and human flourishing. However, much less research has been done on how such an environment comes about. This conference's theme is a challenge to all of us to think more deeply about this issue. |
