Potential topics include studies of microeconomic or macroeconomic factors that affect poverty, well-being and economic growth, the roles of labor markets, the financial sector, entrepreneurship and technology, the public sector, health and education, families and communities and networks, the role of the political economy and international trade. In keeping with the NBER's tradition, empirical research and theoretical work with direct empirical applications is particularly encouraged. |
