- Ambiguity in Economics and Economy
- Nijmegen, Radboud University Nijmegen, University Club, Netherlands
- Ambiguity is pervasive in the economy and widely discussed in the economic science. It plays a role at all levels of economic decision-making, starting with individual choices, and extending up to the way institutions and cultures respond to the less than perfectly quantifiable uncertainty of the every-day economic reality. We address multiple facets of research on ambiguity, also known as Knightian uncertainty, in a one-day research meeting, inviting dialogue on several levels, institutional, theoretical and empirical, with the desire to further our understanding of ambiguity on conceptual, theoretical, institutional and behavioural level. Stimulating discussion across various fields we strive to stimulate new ideas and discussion. The conference brings together experts working on the frontier of the theoretical and empirical research on ambiguity.[gem?_?? den Informationen des Anbieters - according to site editor's information]
