This ranking is from Handelsblatt, Germany's leading business and financial newspaper. To be eligible, an economist must be in Germany, Austria, or the German speaking part of Switzerland. It then uses the top 182 economics journals from around the world to rank them. Besides the top 100, they have a variety of other rankings, such as the top departments.
