Asset and Health Dynamics Among the Oldest Old (AHEAD)
The Asset and Health Dynamics Among the Oldest Old (AHEAD) is an HRS auxiliary study, also known as Aging and Health in America. It centers on "data to address a broad range of scientific questions focused on the interplay of resources and late life health transitions." The initial sample consisted of 7,447 respondents aged 70+, including 2,548 aged 80 and over, plus 775 younger spouses. There are follow-ups every two years. Data, including errata, is available on-line.
